 What do you need to be conscious of in terms of boy language/non-verbal communication in an interview scenario?

 How should I present myself/what else will I be careful to consider?

 Apprenticeship: what will you research/additionally cover when preparing for an apprenticeship interview

 Uni: summarise the key information regarding each course/Uni you are applying for (course content/modules, specialist equipment/opportunities/placements/trips, inspiring graduates, learned from open days etc.)

Seventeenth post: Reviewing portfolios/websites so far

 Document your progress: photograph the mounts / screen shot website pages and explain the considerations you are making.

 What have you chosen and why? What range of skills does it show?

 How have you presented it professionally/to give a good impression?

 Give examples of how it links to independent portfolio/website research

Sixteenth Post: Independent Study for high grades

For merit/distinction Unit 10 M1/M2 and D1/D2:

• Find examples of portfolios and website design, or articles about the construction/design of these and analyse them to explain what you have learned/considered as a result of studying them. What will you apply to your own portfolio/website? Document creatively on your blog.

• Possible sources: Behance search by portfolio type eg. ‘Illustration portfolio’, www.artsthread.com search portfolio section, Youtube: view others portfolios select those who have applied to similar courses/Universities, Pinterest: get presentation ideas / follow the link outside of Pinterest to view their portfolio/

fifteenth post - Independent Study (4th - 8th Dec)

Document your 2hrs minimum of proactive independent study (work you have set yourself)
